Our success relies heavily on the unique skills that we employ every day, which are a synthesis of our collectively accrued knowledge of construction processes, project management methods, and the nuances of the markets in which we operate. The value of this knowledge is immeasurable, and much of it resides intrinsically within our employees. Therefore, we are ever committed to creating opportunities for cultivating and sharing knowledge amongst all individuals within our organization.
Our staff are encouraged to and frequently participate in community enrichment and outreach activities, such as charitable donations, volunteer work, and donation drives. PMA also pledges various charitable donations at the corporate level. The following are just a few examples of PMA outreach activities across the company:
Our knowledge of and experience in the industry allow us to successfully mitigate premiums often associated with building green by implementing solutions according to a whole-building paradigm, by incorporating appropriate strategies early on in project development, and by facilitating broad collaboration among design and construction specialists. We have trained and successfully accredited nearly 30 LEED AP’s within the company, and we regularly seek opportunities to promote green building and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) philosophies.
Within PMA we developed an intra-office program to minimize our environmental impact from business operations. The program addresses areas of water use, energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction, indoor environmental quality, and staff morale.
