Gary Jentzen, JD, LEED AP, PE
Gary serves as Chief Operations Officer for PMA Consultants and is responsible for company-wide operations. He has more than 30 years experience in construction, project, and program management on projects nationwide in value of up to $14 billion. He is an expert in claims and changes analysis, large complex claims and changes resolution, complex negotiations, and dispute resolution.
Gary’s experience also includes managing contractors and subcontractors; cost and schedule control; contract and subcontract administration; contract drafting; project procedures; claims avoidance programs, procedures, and reviews; field engineering and inspection; monitoring project progress; project audits; construction and project management; and project closeout. His market knowledge includes the transportation, heavy industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, power, infrastructure, water/wastewater, architectural, and environmental sectors.

Gary is an expert in large, complex claims and change order analyses, negotiation, and resolution, and in various other forms of dispute resolution. He has significant expertise in and knowledge of all aspects of claims and change avoidance review/evaluations that include cost and schedule administration and control, and scope and change order control. He has provided expert analysis and testimony, and he has significant experience working on large, complex claims analysis and dispute resolution assignments. Gary has testified in dispute forums that include dispute review boards, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation.
Gary has a JD from the University of Toledo and a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Gary is a registered professional engineer in Michigan, member of the State Bar of Michigan, and member of the AAA panel of arbitrators. He is a LEED Accredited Professional. Gary is also an instructor in Northeastern University’s Construction Management Program in the Graduate School of Engineering.
