The project was so well run that it will be turning money back to the town that can be used for the new police station slated to break ground next year, all within our tax base. The school is also a model for other towns.
— Dick Ward , Elementary School Building Committee Chairman
It is my pleasure to provide a reference for PMA. Their performance during the time they’ve worked for us at The University of Chicago Medical Center has proven that they would be a valuable team asset for any Healthcare and Laboratory related project. The front end planning efforts put forth by PMA has helped our projects to come in on schedule and under budget. I find them to be extremely organized, reliable, and efficient. They have the analytical skills to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions both in the planning stage, and in the field. I highly recommend them without reservation.
— Ray Donato , Director of New Construction
PMA is steadfast and proven. The Department (DWSD) has had a long working relationship with PMA Consultants for well over 20 years.
— André Lowe, PE , General Manager (formerly)
In the past year, PMA has received 17 task orders to perform OAR (owner-authorized representative) work for GOAA and over the past five years we have entrusted PMA to manage construction projects valued at nearly $400 million.
— Mike Patterson , Director of Construction
We feel incredibly fortunate to know that such a competent team is working on our project. Our project team, including architects Lamoureux Pagano Inc., project managers PMA Consultants, LLC, and Fontaine Brothers Inc. as our construction company, are demonstrating such dedication and care for this project. I am confident we will have a new library of which people will be tremendously proud.
— Ellen Dolan , Director
PMA’s team provided outstanding OPM services on the $40M East Somerville Community School Project. This complex reconstruction and new construction project was completed on time and on budget largely due to the collaborative attitude and focus, proactive management approach, responsiveness and attention to detail consistently demonstrated by PMA. These exceptional services were delivered during and after completion of the project. PMA currently serves as the OPM for the Somerville High School Project and has continued to provide superior services.
— Tony Pierantozzi , Former Superintendent of Schools
As the Senior Director of Facilities/Office of Capital Planning for UMass Memorial Health Care, I truly recognize the challenges the team overcame in the planning, design and construction of [the UMass Medical School Ambulatory Care Center]. The team was able to work around an ever-evolving scope, with minimal impact to end users, to complete the project within budget and when we needed it. Since opening for operations in August 2010, I have heard nothing but positive comments about the building from both patients and staff. This is truly an example of how a successful project should be executed and UMass Memorial Health Care is please how the facility turned out.
— Gary Valcourt , Senior Director of Facilities/Office of Capital Planning
I have worked with PMA on a variety of project types and found their staff to be highly organized, focused, and effective. PMA brings a variety of tools to project management [including] state-of-the-art technological tools and good old-fashioned know-how.
— Joseph O’Farrell , Managing Director
The PMA team has been an incredible partner to Catholic Memorial these past three years. During that time, we’ve invested more money into our campus than the entire previous history of the school combined. Their expertise has provided a steady and trusted hand in delivering projects on time, on schedule and on budget. I can speak for our Headmaster and our Board when I say that we all sleep better at night knowing PMA is part of our team!
— Joseph MacDonald, CPA , Chief Financial Officer
PMA made the difference and brought the JW Marriott Grand Rapids to completion on schedule and on quality in the midst of very challenging design delays and rapid materials price escalation. This was accomplished because of your top quality, experienced, and fully committed professional staff. We will most certainly hire PMA Consultants again for our program management needs.
— Bert Crandall , Project Executive
The knowledge, experience, skills, and professionalism of PMA Consultants’ staff has been key to SFMTA moving forward on a complex project with a claims-oriented contractor.
— Patricia Parker , Project Manager
On behalf of DP&C, I’d like to thank and recognize PMA for outstanding work at the Metropolitan Division. Your services as the single point of contact to address forecasting and project status has allowed my staff to focus on getting the jobs done while ensuring a single, consistent message to DP&C quickly and professionally. Your commitment to quality and to meeting all of our needs has been unsurpassed in all my years of working for PSE&G. In addition, you have worked hand-in-hand to assist Metropolitan Division in improving our reporting and in implementing process improvements. You are, and continue to be, an asset to this company. Thank you for all that you do!
— Robert J. Piano Jr. , Principal Work Integration Manager
PMA Consultants has exceeded requirements and provided excellent analysis and precise recommendations for three risk assessments over the last three years. The first two risk assessments were successful in providing Metro with detailed recommendations and a path forward. The last one was a schedule assessment follow-up to one earlier in which the potential project start-up date was assessed and detailed recommendations presented. I would encourage other Metro project teams to rely on the expertise of PMA Consultants in the future.
— William Brown , Deputy Executive Officer, Program Control
PMA is a longtime partner and trusted adviser who has successfully provided owner’s project management services on several key projects supporting the growth at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). PMA managed the construction of the Library & Learning Commons, the design and construction of Monadnock Hall, Kingston Hall, and the Langer Place Parking Facility. PMA’s ability to foresee challenges on projects, resolve them expeditiously, and provide excellent project management staff has been and continues to be an asset to SNHU. I would recommend using PMA on future projects.
— Monther Mardini , AVP of Capital Projects
We have used PMA staff on a variety of complex construction projects here at Boston Landing and have found one key aspect of their services to be of primary importance to us – the ability to navigate and communicate with a variety of stakeholders and consultants who often have contrasting goals.
— Keith Craig , Director
No other software can compare to NetPoint in facilitating collaboration.
— Dan Molnar , Project Control Lead, Merk & Co
The best part about the software is the ease of operability and the next best part is you can visualize the schedule which is great for presentations and gives you an overall view of the project.
— Angela Davis , Project Controls Lead
The best part about this scheduling software is that I can lay down schedules of multiple projects on one sheet and see if there are any overlaps between projects. In addition, it is great to make presentations to the board using this tool.
