Our Values

  • Maintaining the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our business
  • Amazing service
  • People who aim high
  • Professionals who are motivated and empowered to be the best
  • Nurturing innovation
  • Each other
  • An environmental and social consciousness

Our success relies heavily on the unique skills that we employ every day, which are a synthesis of our collectively accrued knowledge of construction processes, project management methods, and the nuances of the markets in which we operate. The value of this knowledge is immeasurable, and much of it resides intrinsically within our employees. Therefore, we are ever committed to creating opportunities for cultivating and sharing knowledge amongst all individuals within our organization.

Our staff are encouraged to and frequently participate in community enrichment and outreach activities, such as charitable donations, volunteer work, and donation drives. PMA also pledges various charitable donations at the corporate level. The following are just a few examples of PMA outreach activities across the company:

  • PMA Boston volunteers at a homeless shelter in Massachusetts. Activities include donating and preparing of meals as well as organizing a 50/50 fundraiser, where staff donations are matched by PMA
  • PMA Chicago participates annually in the Comer Kid’s Classic 5K run as a corporate sponsor and staff are encouraged to enter the run as well
  • PMA Orlando participates in the Water Environment Foundation Charity Bicycle Ride, where funds raised are donated to “Water for People”. PMA also pledged a donation to sponsor this event
  • PMA Detroit contributes to Water Assistance Volunteer Effort (WAVE), a 501A(c)(3) corporation dedicated to helping low-income Detroit families maintain access to water and sewerage services

Our knowledge of and experience in the industry allow us to successfully mitigate premiums often associated with building green by implementing solutions according to a whole-building paradigm, by incorporating appropriate strategies early on in project development, and by facilitating broad collaboration among design and construction specialists. We have trained and successfully accredited nearly 30 LEED AP’s within the company, and we regularly seek opportunities to promote green building and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) philosophies.

Within PMA we developed an intra-office program to minimize our environmental impact from business operations. The program addresses areas of water use, energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction, indoor environmental quality, and staff morale.
