The $96 million Blanche A. Ames Early Elementary School project provides a new early elementary school to replace and consolidate the district’s three existing K-2 schools. The new school is located on the district’s central campus, immediately adjacent to four occupied school buildings and Easton’s public safety building. The school will be a two-story building with wings of classrooms and a central core housing two cafeterias, a gymnasium, kitchen, music and art rooms, and a media center. The completed project will better meet the students’ educational, accessibility, technology, and security needs.
