Formerly an industrial area that served as one of the region’s largest stockyards, this ongoing construction effort, collectively known as Boston Landing, is transforming a neighborhood just outside of Boston into a vibrant destination for like-minded companies focused on work/life balance. The $750 million project spans 15 acres and contains numerous construction components that includes a hotel, retail/restaurant space, office space, a commuter rail station, and a parking garage expansion. Completed and in-progress projects PMA has supported include the New Balance World Headquarters, Boston Landing MBTA Commuter Rail Station, Kohi Coffee, Flatbread Pizza Company, Cambridge Naturals (Health and Wellness Store), 40 Guest Street/Auerbach Center (Celtics Practice Facility), NB Fitness Club, and 80 Guest Street Lab Conversion.
Initially only engaged to provide scheduling support services, PMA’s contract was extended to continue providing comprehensive owner’s project management services including schedule and budget management, procurement oversight, site management, contract management, and monthly reporting. PMA works closely with NB Development Group LLC to deliver all project on time and on budget.
