Mirabella at Arizona State University is a $252 million intergenerational retirement community development that offers resort-style living. The 20-story facility includes 239 independent-living apartments and 59 health-care units. Scope for this community project also on-site restaurants, a theater, library, and wellness center; an art studio and gallery and indoor pool; event and meeting space; and a salon and spa.
PMA was initially engaged to provide schedule review services to determine whether the project could achieve an early completion. Continuing follow-up services include monthly schedule reviews and on-call miscellaneous schedule tasks. The owner needed critical information that demonstrated when the project would be complete so unit sales and associated resident move-in dates could be managed. PMA’s ongoing monitoring of the project schedule enabled the owner to manage its expectations.
