The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is replacing the existing Automated People Mover Operating System serving Airsides 1 and 3 of the North Terminal Complex at Orlando International Airport. The systems are dual-lane shuttles with an approximate length of 2,000 feet on each guideway lane. The project scope also includes the design and construction of the South Terminal Complex Automated People Mover Operating System, which will connect to the existing North Terminal with one station at each end of the system. The South Terminal will have approximately 7,500 feet of a dual-lane guideway with an initial fleet to support a specified initial line capacity.
As a part of the Owner Authorized Representative team, PMA staff serves as a project liaison for GOAA as the project manager for the construction, operation and maintenance of Automated People Mover Systems.
