This project involves two major efforts: a master plan study of all Town of Saugus schools and construction of a new Middle-High School with stadium. The master plan study determined the ideal configuration for Saugus Public Schools to include renovation of the existing Middle School to accommodate grades 3 through 5 and district administration, as well as an addition/renovation to the Town’s newest elementary school to accommodate grades Pre-K through 2. The anticipated master plan project costs are approximately $25.4 million. The master plan and feasibility study also determined the need for a new $160.7 million Middle-High School for grades 6-12. The partially MSBA-funded Middle-High School Project is currently in the construction phase and is pursuing a LEED-Silver certification.
PMA is providing comprehensive owner’s project management (OPM) services from feasibility to project closeout phases. The OPM team assisted the Town of Saugus in procuring architectural and engineering services for the Middle-High School project. The project team advanced the project from the feasibility phase and schematic design phase and is now in the construction documents phase.
