The $12 million CMAA-award-winning project included the demolition of an existing 1950s Department of Public Works (DPW) facility and the construction of a new 41,000-SF facility to include space for multiple departments. The project was designed to meet LEED-certified standards including rainwater harvesting, super insulation, geothermal system, and a vehicle wash reclaim system.
PMA provided comprehensive owner’s project management services from pre-design through closeout. The scope of work included representing the town and providing scheduling, cost estimating, and on-site construction services. Once the new facility was complete, PMA assisted the owner in moving operations into the building. The project came in on time and below budget.
