The Vale Long Harbour Processing Plant and the Voisey’s Bay mine and concentrator are an integrated operation being built in Newfoundland. The majority of the construction on this processing plant project involves shell buildings with interior facilities for handling and processing materials. In addition to nickel, the plant also processes cobalt and copper from the ore.

This included providing a detailed review of the project schedule, developing a schedule risk model, and performing a probabilistic analysis to determine likely project completion.
