This $80 million 870,000+-SF project is 8-stories tall and consists of approximately 1,850 parking spaces, as well as a 63,300-SF shell space to accommodate future institutional occupancy. The structure connects to the adjacent Center for Care and Discovery hospital via a bridge on the second floor of the parking garage and an underground tunnel.
PMA provided project controls, including change order management, process improvements, pay application review, schedule review and cost control, document control, and reporting for the project. PMA developed tools for budget tracking and reporting, change order logs, and a summary schedule in NetPoint of the contractor’s detailed schedule, which was used for reporting to the management team. PMA facilitated a series of workshops to plan the activation of the facility and integrated those activities with the contractor’s schedule.
